Undefeated Puerto Rican Star Miguel Cotto will fight in april and a possible matchup in july between him and another star. Antonio MArgarito he was called the most feared man in boxing, avoidded by Mayweataehr and mosley, but what happens when he fights another power punching super star in cotto?Who wins and who has the best chance in beating the p4p king Floyd Mayweather JR?

What are you guys smoking? Miguel Cotto would destroy Margarito. Paul Williams owned Margarito in his last fight. Cotto KO's Carlos Quintana, ran thru him like nothing. Quintana just took Williams title. Margarito is overrated. Shane mosley would destroy him. Cotto it the only threat to Mayweather and still I don't think he'd win. FLoyde is the BEST boxer of our era and he steps up and starts better fighters he may go down as the best of all TIME>

margarito all the way...margarito has the punching power to stop anyone in his weight class...hes taller, stronger, and way more reach over cotto...when they fight all he has to do is go like he did with golden jhonson...and just throw flurries...margarito can beat anyone in his weight class...even floyd the marathon runner...

Margarito would win by late round KO on Cotto.... Cotto is strong but at 5'7 im not sure if he is  strong enough for Margarito when Cotto couldnt floor Mosely once, even though he hit him flush numerous times..... Cotto is a quick puncher but does not have fast enough hands to stop Margaritos attack.... Cottos only chance would be a gift decision from the judges....as you said the best fighter in the world ducked him as many others have and for a very good reason.... Margaritos chin for the last decade has been second to none while Cotto has been dropped and hurt by lesser fighters ....... as far as who can beat Mayweather well the only choice is Cotto because if Mayweather didnt fight Margarito (who was champ at the time) for 8Million dollars then he never will .... got to see the video on utube of Mayweather looking not to p**s off Margarito when they met the way he did Hatton.... h**l even Mosely was baffled at why Mayweather didnt fight Margarito .... but Cotto can beat Mayweather but by decision if he were to get that chance .... i was reading Cotto is already trying to Position Mayorga for his next fight instead of Fighting Margarito which would be the ultimate punk move if he does........but i said Cotto will do anything to avoid fighting Margarito months ago and it looks like nothing has changed....

This is definitely the Boricua's fight. Cotto will outpunch Margarito anywhere anytime. Even Larry Merchant takes Cotto, and that is hard to imagine since he is always critizicing anyone who is not American.

I gotta go with Savi on this one. Margarito called HIMSELF the most feared man in boxing....and reporters latched on to it. Doesnt make it so.

Margarito looked below average against Williams...but Williams size could do that.

But I have to go with the idea that Cotto IS the larger puncher. And the longer he stays at that weight and lets his body adapt to it...the harder he will punch. Cottos ring skills (mainly putting together combinations) out does Margarito by miles.

Shane put Cotto on E because he ran him fast and early...and Cotto was gassed out by the late rounds. Margarito doesnt have that kind of speed or saavy...that fight would be fought middle ring.

ok first all mayweather is not the king for pound 4 pound if you call jabing the whole 12 rounds pound 4 pound then dam wat happened to boxing second margarito and cotto would be a h**l of a fight i would have to cotto comes out on top by split decision and third its all bout mosley
