Lets get the facts. Oscar and Hatton wanted a rematch. Why rematch some one you beat? He took it because of the money. Why Cotto cant put the money up? I sould be asking Bob Arum that. Judah and Corley rocked Cotto. Mayweather has prove, he can beat brawlers. If Cotto gets into a boxing match, he will lose. If Cotto gets into a brawl. Mayweather would move around the ring, make him use his energy, pop shot him and get out the way. His smart boxing will come into play, and make him get confused. Thats when PBF would take him out. Mayweather would win the first 4 rounds and make Cotto have to catch up or knock him out. Thats when he would play into PBF hands.

through the years cotto has made alot of boxers look bad and the same can be said for mayweather,but with one diffrence can you name one top flight fighter other than zab judah cotto has faught.mayweather has beaten them all.from corallis to ricky hatton to zab judah to oscar.if they were in a fight mayweather would destroy cotto.he would work the jab maybe a few hard rights.it is well known that cotto can get hit and he may be good with the body shots but he will not get to mayweather.he is just to fast.WINNER FLOYD MAYWEATHER

TrueL- cotto isn't a brawler his a boxer/puncher. I'm sure I saw cotto box mosley. And if cotto was one dimensional I think mosley would have had an easier time fighting him.

I wouldn't be sure but cotto stopped judah and de marcus corley which mayweather didn't.Could happen but a doubt they will ever fight.when cotto takes care of gomez and mayweather beats de le hoya hopefully it will happen but mayweather wants a rematch with hatton.

Verdict if it was this year mayweather next year cotto (he keeps improving and mayweather isn't getting any younger)
