No Kryptonite or other things that weaken Heroes or Villains.

  1. I'd have to give it to DC.  I like A LOT of different comic book companies, and read both Marvel and DC, and I've always felt the DC Heroes and Villains had far more powerful characters than Marvel's.  The only one in Marvel's roster regarding Heroes would be Hulk in terms of comparison to Superman's strength, but, remember, Hulk can revert to normal, while Superman is Superman full time, and Hulk's power depends on his anger level.  Hulk can heal, but Superman is pretty much invulnerable, except for certain Kryptonite and magic.  He also has the heat vision, super and cold breath, X-ray vision, etc.  Hulk--just has strength. Superman just needs Earth's yellow sun and Earth's gravity.  Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, etc., are all far more powerful than Thor, Iron Man, Prof. X, Wolverine, Colossus, Storm, Captain America.  The DC villains are more powerful.  Darkseid, Sinestro, Lex Luthor, Joker, Capt. Cold, etc., are more powerful than Thanos (a copy of Darkseid, basically), Loki, Mandarin, Magneto.  The only Marvel character who isn't a Celestial, etc., and is most powerful, is Molecule Man.  Firestorm is similar to Molecule Man in his powers, but Molecule Man's sanity is fragile, and doesn't go out and destroy any longer, at least not right now.  Scarlet Witch was able to alter reality, but she was also nuts.  There are many many more characters I could mention, but all in all, DC has more powerful characters.

  2. Well D.C. and Marvel actually made a 4 part mini-series. Obviously it was called Marvel vs D.C./D.C. vs Marvel. (This doesn't include villains btw.) The plot was that 50 heroes were chosen from each universe and would battle each other, and the winning universe would keep on exisiting. But not all of the 50 matches were done. Only 11 matches took place.

    Aquaman defeats Namor the Sub-Mariner

    Elektra defeats Catwoman

    Flash defeats Quicksilver

    Robin defeats Jubilee

    Silver Surfer defeats Green Lantern

    Thor defeats Captain Marvel

    Batman defeats Captain America

    Spider-Man1 defeats Superboy

    Storm defeats Wonder Woman

    Superman defeats The Hulk

    Wolverine defeats Lobo

So Marvel won 6 to 5, but both universes got to survive...its kinda complicated.

  3. Although I really do like the Alot of the marvel characters better Im ganna have to say D.C. Think about it, Super man is invinsible.

  4. DC would win, but to the guy above.. it is not true that DC heros are far more powerful then Marvel. First of all you have all the gods in Marvel. Odin, Thor, Ares, Hercules, Loki, Galactus.... Not to mention the godlike powers of some: Sentry, WWHulk, Silver Surfer, the Phoenix, Blackbolt, Professor X...

Then there was Thanos with the infinity gauntlet

no doubt both Marvel and DC have powerful people, but I wouldn't say DC has the most.

DC seems to just have more persistence.

To the post below- the outcomes were fan based because in no way possible could Spiderman beat Superboy, and Wolverine beat Lobo
