  1. Who would win in what? In a BJJ match? In a Submission Grappling match? in an MMA match?

In a old-fashioned BJJ match, I'd assume that Royce would have an advantage. He's spent countless hours and years honing his skills in that area.

In a submission grappling match, I'd favor Eddie. He specializes in the no gi game and may pull out some unorthodox moves that Royce isn't used to seeing. Although, I don't keep tabs on Royce, so I don't know if he has updated his game to keep up with the revolutions in BJJ or not.

In an MMA match, Royce has more experience, but Eddie's style lends itself more to MMA (no gi). But then again, perhaps not, since Royce keeps it simple and knows how to use strikes to create openings. Plus I've never seen Bravo do anything with MMA, so I can't really make any sound assumptions.

So my question to you is, why do you ask?

  2. Id pick royce in any type of a grappling match, hands down.   Bravo did make one gracie tap, but everyone gets lucky, and having already beat a gracie family member, i am sure Royce would be out to hurt eddie

  3. Gracie ju-jitsu is a strong martial art so i would put my money on him

  4. I think Royce would win, especially if he can get his wheelchair close to the octagon.

  5. i bet eddie bravo would be too stoned from smoking blunts to remember his rubber guard when he was in the match and therefore would lose!! royce gracie would be stronger than him too because of his roids.  id love to see the match though.

  6. Bravo has proven he can hold his own in a submission grappling match.  In their primes I would say if they wrestled 20 times each would win 10 times.

  7. With a Gi on, Royce would probably wreck Bravo as he hasn't trained in a gi for many years.

No-gi, I'd give the advantage to Bravo. He specializes in this aspect of grappling and is constantly adding and tweaking his stuff.

MMA would be Royce. He's got more experience fighting.
