  1. I love Ali....and hate Tyson.....but I'd bet on Tyson!

  2. The Great One "Muhammad Ali" Hands Down , he is to allusive and how can "Iron Mike" hit something that's always moving and dodging, swaying, leaning then BANG ! Ali hits you with his killer jabs.

I know how devastating mike was in his prime but Ali went to war against the best (Frazier,Liston,Forman,Spinks,Terrel) and don't think Ali cant take a beating ,remember the rope a dope match, Ali Vs Forman where Ali got punished by formans devastating blows just to weaken/tired the big man and reverse the devastation.

Mike Tyson was known to knock people out in the early rounds but the true question is he capable to last in a 12 rd  bout ,especially against a battle tested , primo fighter like the  great one, my answer would be no.

So Ali can give and receive punishment and has the stamina to last 12,13,14,15 ,,,what ever it take rounds !

Respectively these are two of the best boxers of our time and we will probably will never see another boxer dominate like these two in a while.

  3. This question is asked way to often!

Tyson devastated a bunch of mediocre fighters (except for a mediocre Buster Douglas, who KO'd him! At 24yrs old! & Yes thats his prime) Name one great heavyweight that Mike beat while they were in their prime!

    Ali beat legends!!

This question is an insult to Ali!

  4. what a seventyes question

i think muhammad ali more brain mor speed more tec.

  5. Tyson would win, athletes are far more superior in the modern day than back in the days, also ali allows himself to take so many hits, if tyson lands one good sht its all over

  6. This is one of those fights that you could not say one guy would always beat the other.  They could fight 100 times and Tyson could win 99 of them, then they could fight 100 times again and Ali would win 99 of them, or any mismatch of the win/loss numbers.  The reason is Tyson in his prime was probably the most devastating puncher in the history of boxing.  I am not a Mike Tyson fan, but if I were to be honest I would have to say he had more one punch KO power then any other boxer in history.  Now, Ali was one of the quickest and best pure boxers in history and had plenty of punching power himself.  If there match went past round 2 or 3 at the latest, Ali would win hands down.  The question is though, can Tyson land one of his devastating punches in rounds 1, 2 or 3?  I would say he probably could.  If I had to bet all my money on a winner of one fight between Tyson in his absolute prime and Ali in his, I would honestly have to go with Tyson.  Ali was a very smart fighter, but also a very arrogant fighter, and I think that would get him in trouble the first time they fought.  If there was a re match after that though and once again I had to bet my money, I would take Ali the second time around.

  7. Tyson would crush Ali.  He's a better tuned modern day warrior.

  8. Tyson's losses Buster Douglas (journeyman) Lennox Lewis & Holyfield. His best wins 38 yr old Holmes, Lightheavyweight Spinks, Tony Tucker & Razor Ruddock both Journeyman.

Ali's loss (prime years) Frazier & Norton. One all time great, and one very good awkward fighter. His other losses were well past his prime. His wins, Patterson, Liston, Williams, Frazier, Norton, Foreman, and Shavers.  He cameback and beat the 2 guys that defeated him twice!

Truth be told, Tyson never beat anybody the historians consider a great fighter. (holmes was old & Spinks was a LH)

People mistakenly think that the Douglas, Holyfield & Lewis fights should be dismissed because it was past Tyson's prime. He was 24 for Douglas!! Thats your prime! He was 29 and 30 for Holyfield and about 33 for Lewis. They also like to make excuses for him like he didn't train(Douglas) or personal problems (Holyfield or Lewis) That doesn't cut it! Champions overcome or earn rematches and win! Tyson was a fraud! Sold and marketed by his handlers, (as all handlers should and do). But along the line when it comes to to put up or shut up! Tyson always failed when he faced a big or critical opponent, yet some people still want to buy into the

    illusion!

Ali by KO, much easier and quicker than Buster did!

  9. ali comes out to meet tyson and tyson starts to retreat

If he goes back any further…he'll be in a ringside seat

ali swings with a left and ali swings with a right

look at young muhammad as he carries the fight

tyson keeps backing, but there's not enough room

It's a matter of time till ali lowers the boom

now ali swings with a right, what a beautiful swing

and the punch knocks that chump clear out of the ring

tyson's still rising! the ref wears a frown

for he can't start counting…till tyson comes down!!

now tyson disappears from view, the crowd is getting frantic

but our radar stations pick him up, he's over the atlantic!

who would have thought when they came to the fight

that they'd witness the launch…of a human satellite?

yes, the crowd did not dream, when they came to their seat

that they would see  that chump tyson get beat!

  10. Ali was good but mike tyson would definetly win.

The reason mike tyson lost to buster douglas was becuase buster douglas was big enough to not get knocked out, even though tyson still knocked him down. Ali never had the chin to take one of tysons punches.

Now if people try to say that ali could dance away from tyosn like he did for george foreman and liston i dont think he would be able to do that agin with tyson. Liston and foreman were just big and strong but they were clumsy fighters, tyson was strong, fast, and very well coached ( Tyson's coach also coached floyd patterson who fought ali so he would have some knowledge on how to fight.
