  1. Assuming both are in their primes...

Once the bell rings, Tyson will attempt to swarm Ali throwing wild power punches with the hope of scoring an early flash KO... he will fight Ali with more aggression, but Ali has more control of the ring. If a fighter like James "Quick" Tillis could last the distance with a prime Tyson, there's a good chance Muhammed Ali would defeat him with superior counter punching... Tyson had quicker and more powerful punches than Ali, but Ali had much more heart and endurance. If Tyson can't score a KO before Rd 3, I give the fight to Ali by UD.

  2. ali

  3. Tyson was an animal in his prime ... but Ali was a skilled boxer who focused on any little weakness in his oppenent. Ali would have tired Tyson out ... then he would take him out in the final rounds. Would be a great fight if it were possible. These two were great fighters.

  4. tyson in his prime

  5. Tyson had a great 5 year run, but Ali would have handled anything Mike threw at him.

  6. ali would come out jabbing and moving from the opening bell, circling the ring, tyson would chase and hit nothing but thin air and gloves.

after 5 rounds tyson is tired, after 7 he is desperate for a ko, and by the 10th he is finished, and ali "lowers the boom".

    ali boombaye

  7. i would say ali cuz hes got a lot faster and more technical and skilled.  however, if tyson manages to catch him with one or two real good shots it might be over for ali.  so i guess it could go either way but skill wise i wuold say ali and for tyson it would be more of a matter of just trying to land something and ending it in a few shots.

of course this is all considering you mean if they both fought each other in their primes

  8. ali, of course.tyson has no brains.

  9. I seriously do not know what is happening with the younger generation of boxing fans these days.

Why is it everyday i come on this forum i see this question. Is it just me or does Mike Tyson's name not even deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence with the likes of Ali and Louis etc.

I will answer your question by saying in my opinion Ali would weather the storm of the early rounds and then once Tyson had lost his spirit of knowing the best chance of him winning the fight was gone, Ali would begin to pile up the points when in round 10 Ali knocks Tyson out.

  10. tyson he's a f$#king beast, coz ali is fast but mostly he tires his opponents and tyson gets grab em and bite em or just ko them
