Who would win a fight between a jaguar and a mountain lion?

Well, I have a friend who hit a deer with her Jag (a nice pretty silver one) and the deer all but totaled it.  Mountain lions are much bigger and heavier than deer, so I'm going to go with the mountain lion.

The mountain lions are the smallest of the lions,  the jaguar is  a lion also but too big for the bobcat.

the jaguar ,mountain lions are smaller.even if your talking about jaguar the car ,i think the jaguar would just run over a mountain lion ,but not without some expensive damage.

The jaguar is generally heavier than the mountain lion and is regarded as the stronger of the two cats.  It is particularly noted for the power of its bite.

In a confrontation, the two cats might engage; but they would probably disengage pretty quickly and neither would be much the worse for wear.  If they were placed in an enclosed area where they had no way to escape and HAD to fight, the jaguar would probably prevail.  

The jaguar is regarded as one of the foremost hunters in the cat kingdom.  It eats almost anything (including deer, taipirs, birds,caimans and snakes -- but NOT giant anacondas!) and is equipped with the weapons and techniques needed to deal with such prey. The cougar feeds primarily on deer and is a great spinter. The jaguar often has to "fight" with its prey while the cougar does not, so that IMO gives the jaguar the edge.

Jaguar is the third largest cat next to Tigers and Lions,its heavier and more muscled than leopard, on the other hand, mountain lion or cougar or puma are not considered as big cats but cougars had the greatest leaping ability among cats, in the fight between the two, Jaguar, being larger and stronger will win.
