The answer is Chuck Liddell, he's just Physically bigger. Yes Anderson Silva is the most skilled fighter in the world and P4P number 1 but a good big guy beats a good little guy so even though Anderson is miles ahead of Chuck in skill and in the p4p rankings, Chucks power and strength would overwhelm anderson because he wouldn't be able to take him down and his shots probably wouldn't hurt Chuck when standing.

Liddell wins Decison or Late KO!

I would pick Silva.  Liddell does better against grapplers (Ortiz, Couture) than against strikers (Jardine, Rampage).  He relies on his amazing takedown defense to shut down the grapplers' game plan, then looks for the big knock out.  Silva I think is a better striker than Liddell.  He is certainly a better striker than Jardine, and Jardine gave Chuck all he could handle with leg kicks, body kicks, and punches.  It would be a great fight though.

I think so, Anderson is a much better striker than Chuck and has awesome BJJ! It's a fight I would love to see!

chuck should win.Irvin is NOT a top LHW.Silva is very good but I think Hendo showed how to stop him in round 1.He got submitted when he decided to trade with silva.Chuck wont make the same mistake he made against rampage and over reach(the same type of mistake Irvin made with a lazy kick).Silva might be ready after a few fights but right now Wandy/Chuck should beat him.Also the current champ has what it takes to execute the right gameplan .He did it to rampage and shogun.I also think Hendo would win a rematch.Dont mean to Dis on Anderson but I would like to see him tested by the top guys( I dont rate marquardt/lutter as top guys and franklin has lots of holes in his game) and the aforementioned would give him the test he deserves.In my opinion :)
