Who would win between Anderson Silva and Georges St. Pierre?

These are my top two favorite fighters since St. Pierre would have to move up in weight class I would give the edge to Silva just wandering what yall thought.

Anderson Silva is an out of this world striker, GSP is good, but not as good as Silva. Silva would pick him apart and TKO in the first or second round.

Anderson Silva is the best pound for pound fighter right now.  Anderson Silva knock-out first or second round, GSP has displayed a questionable chin. thats my opinion JAY

thats a fantasy match, never will happen but I would garuntee this A. silva would never lose to a fighter like M. serra even on his worst day. A. silva in the frist round..

As long as Anderson Silva does not submit GSP. GSP would ground and pound Anderson Silva.  Silva's take down defense is horrible but his jiu jitsu is good.  I do not think GSP would want to stand up with him.  GSP can hold his own.  Lutter was clearly dominating Silva on the ground and so was Henderson. Henderson got stupid and wanted to throw fists with Silva and knock him out.  I think with a better game plan, Henderson wins by just doing take downs.  It is a dream match. Flip a coin

Well theres a few factors that would decide the fight. First GSP is a small welter weight walking around at 185lbs and Anderson Silva is a big middle weight walking around at around 205-210lbs. GSP has superior takedowns and Spider has it in striking. They are pretty close on the ground but Spider is bigger. Theres no doubt that GSP would want to take this fight to the ground but im not sure he could submit Spider. Its possible GSP could win by sub but its more likely that GSP would win by decision or Spider by KO. Very interesting match. Im rooting for GSP.

A. Silva and GSP i think are comparable in their striking abilities....but im sure the weight difference would be too hard for GSP to overcome,not to mention Silva's size, length, and strength advantages Silva has over him........and who the h**l is talking about M. Serra, Randell???

I say GSP. I like Silva as a fighter alot but I feel GSP has a better all around game. He has more tools in his belt than Silva does, and for that reason I can see a GSP victory by ground and pound.
