  1. FELIX,FELIX,FELIX,FELIX,FELIX,FELIX,FELI... of trinidad

  2. Please! dont ask that. As a puerto rican is difficult to answer. They are both great fighters and glorious to our country. Well, I have to choose right? As now, Cotto. 7 years earlier, I would probably say Tito.

    Love them both!

  3. Cotto, easy.  KO in the 3rd.  But this fight will never happen because Cotto is coming into his prime, while Trinidad is dropping off, probally retired again.

  4. trinidad all the way

    DE

  5. mr cotto

  6. Felix trinidad  8th round ko

  7. It really depends on the weight class.

  8. i dont know that much about them but. trinidad 3 years ago

  9. Cotton Candy

  10. tough fight....and for the KIng of Puerto Rico matchup..... I would have to go with Trinidad even though i lost $175 when he beat Delahoya...i still say i was robbed of my money by the jUdges....but Trinidad was a solid fighter with Heavier hands and is a good 3 inches bigger than Cotto....Trinidad has just as deadly, if not better, body shots and i think he would give all the Tall midget Cotto can handle lol.... but would be  a great matchup

  11. Miguel Cotto would outbox Felix any day of the weak.  He utterly destroys his opponent over time and I believe he will even be a match for Floyd Mayweather and if you think about it Winky Wright beat Felix with ease by pure boxing at its best and thats how Cotto fights.

  12. trinidad by ko in 7 round.

  13. The best way to answer this is to say that there is no current welterweight that can match Trinidad in his prime.......Cotto included.  Cotto would likely be stopped in the middle rounds.

  14. If Demarcus Corley and Ricardo Torres could almost knock Cotto out at 140 pounds, then I'm pretty confident in saying that Felix Trinidad would have knocked Cotto out at 147.  A lot of people say that he was struggling to make 140 and thats why he was rocked, but I saw Zab Judah stun him early in their fight and I saw Shane Mosley back him up towards the end of their fight.  In his prime, I think that Trinidad would back him up and land that classic left hook to the point where he would stop Cotto.  Trinidad would also be able to take Cotto's body attack and if Cotto tried to nutpunch Tito like he did with Zab Judah, then Trinidad would hit him low back because Tito would not tolerate that.  Watch the Trinidad-Vargas fight and you'll see that Tito was capable of taking his opponents momentum away by "going south of the border" just like Cotto did with Zab.  I think that it would have been an excellent matchup, but I think that Tito's power would have been too much for Cotto and an accumulation of Trinidad's left hooks would stop him late in the fight.

Beau B- you can't compare the Tito of the Winky Wright fight with Cotto because Trinidad was fighting above his best weight.  Since Cotto is a welterweight, its only fair that you compare Trinidad as a welterweight- like the Pernell Whitaker or David Reid fights.
