Great matchup!  Coetzee was actually a prety good fighter and did knock out Michael Dokes for a version of the heavyweight title.  There were talks of him fighting Larry Holmes, but it never happened for some reason.  Bonavena battled some of the best fighters of his era in Chuvalo, Patterson, Frazier, and Ali to name a few and was knocked off his feet only once in his career.  He knocked Joe Frazier down twice in their first fight and many believe he deserved the decision.  Coetzee is a little better technically against the awkward Bonavena.  Bonavena is probably physically stronger and can take a better punch.  This would be a fight of wills and determination.  I say Bonavena by split decision in a good fight.
