Who would win in a battle?

Who would win in a battle, a healthy Killer whale or a healthy Great white shark?????

I think I saw this on a tv show once.  I think a killer whale would probably win with brute strength alone.  Also, the whale is just too big for the shark to take down alone.  A killer whale could just use that move where it just hits things so hard that they go flying like 20 feet out the water.

These animals tend to avoid eachotehr because the whale is commonly found in the deeper parts of the ocean. Where as the great white will tend to be closer to shore for food (ie. seals, near coral, fish) But if they did fight then the Great white would win most likely because although the name doesnt imply it, it has a stronger killer instinct.

Orca, because they typically travel in pods, so other whales would be there for the assist. White sharks tend to be a bit more temperate, and although they have been known and have been seen in the colder waters of the north pacific, those that are, tend to be solitary and would out of their element while the orca would be right at home.

I'd have to say the killer whale.  Read the following and check the web sites.

The largest great white on record measured 21 feet long. Some claim a 23 footer was caught in the Mediterranean, but that report has not been authenticated. Since great whites are such elusive and mysterious creatures, it's entirely possible there may be even bigger ones out there we have yet to meet.

shark.  killer whale will go after fish but the shark will go after something as big or bigger than himself.

Interesting question I am guessing and don't know for sure but a killer whale has teeth that rip open seals and a great white also has teeth and can eat just about anything.  Saying they are both the same size I am going to say the killer whale because when it comes to a battle they are smarter and will trick the shark.  In other words brains before muscle.

Killer whale is the only enemy of the shark. Killer whale has no enemies, therefore the skark loses.

Killer whale no doubt. They are the arch enemy of the great white and grow to be 1/3 longer. They can easily take down great white sharks.
