  1. On ice - hockey player

In a cage - MMA fighter, because of the different fighting styles they know

If anyone thinks a MMA fighter would win on a skates against a pro hockey player, your a complete idiot

  2. Most MMA fighters are tiny little swingbags that fight in there little 145 weight classes. From my past experience as a security professional these little swingbags drive me nutts. "You know what really grinds my gears"....When a 5 foot 150 pound guy trained in a dojo, drank a few mojito's and wants a piece of this 260lb 6ft Monster. Most fighters are tiny under 175 where as most hockey players are over 200lbs. Sure two oiled up scrappy wrestlers may put on a half watchable technical wrestling show. But square him off against a guy who keeps his teeth in his top pocket and something tells me the Hockey fighter would win......or at worst wonder my this little boy in spandex is humping his leg into submission.

  3. Well considering MMA is the least honorable sport in the world I would say an NHL player would have enough Honor and Respect to not go in a cage a knee someone in the nuts, and then when they are on the ground proceed to kicking them in the head.

Now if it were something honorable like boxing I think an NHL'r would have a chance because of the balance, they wouldn't have to focus on that and they can focus more of there energy on actually fighting.

Edit: I have watched MMA and the refs seemed to magically miss a low blow, and then the guy was getting the h**l beat out of him on the ground. It is simply ridiculous and stupid.

  4. A hockey fighter has skates with blades...but an MMA fighter would take out his legs and put him on his a$$ in about 2.5 seconds flat.

    Advantage: Chuck Liddell.

  5. What the h**l do you think you moran!

  6. Well it depends a MMA fighter is aloud to use feet then i say the MMA fighter would win but only hands i think a hockey player would be better because the hockey player has more blance then the MMA fighter.

  7. On ice, the hockey player for sure because they know how to fight on ice.  In a ring, the MMA fighter because they're trained to fight in a ring.  But overall I'd say the MMA fighter because he's trained to fight...Hockey players are trained to play hockey.

  8. the irony of savagebeast's response is priceless.... who the heck is Moran, moron!

  9. On skates or in a cage?

"Off the post" has obviously never watched MMA because if he did, his answer wouldn't seem so idiotic.

  10. Me.

  11. Depends. Is the  MMA fighter involved in a car chase with the police at the time? That would be a distraction.  Does the hockey player get to use his stick?

In a cage, the MMA guy.

On ice with skates, the hockey player. Just get Chris Simon and Chris Pronger to stomp on the MMA's feet with skate blades and it's all over.

  12. Depends on whether or not we're doing this on skates or not.  It is incomprehinsible to me the balance and agility involved in order to grab hold of a guy with one hand, punch him with the other hand, and maintain your balance enough to not only keep your feet under you, but land punches with some wallop on them, while on ice skates.

I know a lot of those guys started skating while still in the womb, but still...........
