Who would win in a fight Bas Rutten or Randy Couture?

Bas Rutten is a mma fighter, and he has kicked lots of *** in his life, Randy Couture is a mma legend, I love both fighters but wanna know is they crossed paths who would win.

Right now it would be Couture, as Bas has had serious injuries to his knees and body.

Prior to 1999, it would be Bas.

Bas retired because of injuries, and does choreography and training now.  Randy is still healthy and in fighting shape.  So I'd give it to Randy Couture today - but 6 or 7 years ago - BAS.  He's comfortable on his back and good at stuffing takedowns, but he's got more power in his kicks and punches than Couture.  

It would be close though - if Randy could get consistent takedowns, he could dominate with the G&P - if it stayed standing, Bas would win striking, even in a standing clinch (which is Randy's favorite position).

I can't say (cop-out I know), and like yourself I respect the h**l out of both men.

But I think "El Guapo" has his hands full right now with the biggest shallenge of his career...turning Kevin Ferguson into a well-rounded fighter.
