Who would win in a fight Bruce Lee or Jet Lei?

I vote for Jet Li (Lei is the Cantonese form of this surname that is Li or Lee in Mandarin) who was a Wu Shu champ of China, while Bruce Lee never competed in anything, except in boxing in high school. Both are better known for movies than actual fights. In movies, it would depend upon the script. Bruce always insisted upon at least ties in movie fights, so it remains to be seen whether Jet would allow Bruce to have his way. In a recent issue of "Black Belt" mag devoted to Bruce Lee, Joe Lewis pointed out that Bruce never competed. A letter said that he won a boxing match in high school. That does not make him a world champ. It is amazing that so many people see only the legend that has grown about Bruce and say he was invincible, when he actually only beat some high school boy in any public fights. I lived in the neighborhood in which Bruce was born and met some of his relatives and men whom he taught. Some of the tales I hear lately were never mentioned when Bruce died, so they have been invented in the nearly 35 years since his death on 7/20/73, my 5th birthday. He would love to know that so many people believe the wild tales about him.

ITs not as open as u think because many criticize Lee for being for of an actor rather than a fighter, but i still feel that Lee would win.

Myuki your post looks familiar, like maybe you posted the same exact thing before. Bruce had more fights than ones in high school! Perhaps you should research a little more before you post. As far as Joe Lewis is concerned, I think he is a little jealous of Bruce. Bruce would kill Jet. Jet admits in the extras of Cradle 2 The Grave that he cannot fight. He also admitted that Bruce would have beaten him.
