Who would win in a fight between a hydra and a kraken?

The setting is like the open ocean. who would win?

It depends:

Since the ocean is the Kraken's natural habitat, it would have a natural advantage over the Hydra. And considering the Hydra has no fins or anything, including buoyancy, it would sink to the bottom of the ocean and drown. =( The Kraken could just watch it drop into the abyss if it wanted. ^^

If it is like the greek hydra the hydra would win since I don't think the kraken can cauterize the heads it rips off so the hydra would grow more heads.

If you are playing Age of Mythology, the Hydra would probably win.
