Who would win in a fight between a tiger and a bear?

Question

the tiger has more speed and agility, but the bear has more size and raw power. Also consider motivation in answering my question

I don't think any animal on the planet can whup an Alaskan brown bear, unless you throw it into a swimming pool with a great white shark. The bear would whup the shark on dry land, though.

Well, CLEARLY the Tiger is Faster. And the Motivation is going to Depend on who is hungerier.

BUT, the Tiger can play a 'Hit & Run' Tactic, where it charges toward the Bear, and Swatts the Bear with its Claw's, then runs off. Then, the Tiger can come back, and do the same again. The Bear can't catch the Tiger, even if it uses it's Stregth to Grab the Tiger! After enough of this 'Hit & Run', the Tiger would leave the Bear weak & tired. In this Senario, the Tiger would Win!

If the Bear Imoblizes the Tiger, then the Tiger will Claw the h**l out of the Bear. The Bear will do much the Same to the Tiger. But, in this case, the Bear would have it's advantage. The Bear could Probably break the Tigers bones, and cut open the Tigers Skin. Once this happens, the Tiger will loose Alot of Strength. In this Senario, the Bear would Win!

Fully grown Polar or Kodiak?  Bear.  Otherwise, tiger.  The tiger is more capable of striking quickly, but a large bear is probably more durable.

Oh, and if its the middle of winter, the tiger wins the fight but then dies from the cold.  :)

depends which animal was a baby, if they were a baby. if one of them where where a baby, the other one would win. if there both babies, idk.. i'd say the one that has a bigger appetite and has not eaten ?
