  1. At 160 lb Roy Jones would win easily. In my opinion he is faster, hits harder (pound for pound) and has better skills, reactions and ring generalship than either Ali or Holyfield. He was also much stronger at 5'10" and 160lb than Ali would be at 6'3" and 160lb  or Holyfield at 6'2 1/2" and 160lb (if Ali or Holyfield could possibly make that weight). I think the same holds true at 168 and 175lb, and Ali actually boxed at light heavywight as an amateur. If Ali kept the same height to weight ratio he would need to be 5'4" to make 160lb!! (Can you imagine someone 5'4" beating Roy Jones??) At heavyweight I think it is a different story. This isn't Roy's natural weight and he would be fighting one of the all time great heavyweights in Ali or a durable, big hearted warrior in Holyfield. Roy could only come in at 196 maximum and would be slower than at 160 or 175. Ali would come in at 220 and would actually be faster at this weight than Roy at 196. Ali would win this one easily, probably by a late stoppage, although Roy would have his moments. Holyfield would take a close decision at heavyweight.

  2. Jones wasn't far from his prime when he moved up to heavyweight to take on John Ruiz, who is slow and will not go down as a legend in the sport, I may add. Now, can you really see Jones stepping up even more when goes up against arguably the greatest in the division, Muhammad Ali, who is much quicker than Ruiz? I don't really think so. We all know the history behind Jones' chin and he wouldn't be used to fighting heavyweights. Remember, this is not some light regarded selection that Roy picks, in John Ruiz. We are talking about Ali, a huge difference in talent and skill. At best, Jones's quickest would probably get him through the first four to six rounds, before the assault from a smart Ali probably take its toll on Jones. I'm sure Ali would smother or work the body, arm or whatever he manages to hit of Jones. The jab would also give Jones some problems. I see Jones wearing out and finally catching one from Ali that would end the night.

As for Jones and Holyfield, I could almost see this one going either way. Holyfield would definitely have the puncher's chance of putting Jones to sleep and he is a little more skilled than those who have ever dropped Jones. At the same time, I think there's a bigger speed difference between the two men than it is between Jones and Ali. I could see Jones coasting his way to a 12 round victory with his speed, getting one or two pop-shots and then disappear, most of the night.

  3. ali was faster and more conditioned than the others

  4. ali was quicker and had a better chin than jones jr. ever did........i think if holyfield lost a few pounds and went into the middleweight class where jones jr. was in his prime, then holyfield would get his *** kicked, jones had very quick hands in his prime but not as quick as ali
