Who would you like to finish higher in the medals table?

Great Britain or Russia?

America looks like winning the most overall.

China looks like getting the most golds.

But in the fight for third place: Great Britain or Russia?

I just wonder if Americans are surprised at our relative success.

Ya know I'm pulling for the athletes. I could care less where they come from. It was a question of time before parity was reached. As far as being surprised by "your" success, why would Americans be surprised. Your athletes go to school here, train at our facilities alongside our athletes. Why the h**l would we be surprised that they are as good or in some cases better?

So much for our Yank "allies".

Great Britain.  Then within a couple of Olympics we will be finishing above another faded "superpower" also.

Population and medals ratio wise:  We, Jamaica and Australia amongst others are above China, Russia and the Americans any way!

I would probably rather Russia overtake GB for 3rd.

I predict Russia will be in 3rd place...

I'm fine with this since historically, Russia has always

been a strong contender in the Olympics.
