1. chattymom4

2.mgnavadomskis

3.18wks*Baby #3! It's a GIRL!!

5. momof4

6. # 6 BEAN ON BOARD

7. ZaZa

For father of the year on here I would nominate

REED - proud dad

And one nomination for future mother to be

D*Kat: Is due Aug 4th

These are their names on here, I know there are a few more I would nominate but I cannot think of their names at the moment. These people seem like awesome parents, keep up the good work.

I have created this new screen name on here so I do not reveal my true identitiy because I don't want any feelings hurt. Who would you nominate for father/mother of the year on here?

  1. Because you can tell by the way a person talks online how great of a parent they are behind closed doors……

Sorry, but I don’t know any of these people from a hole in the wall. They may very well be great parents, but I wouldn’t know unless I was friends in real life with them. (No offense towards anyone)

  2. me-- Charli needs a vaction--cool answers! and i would my mom but... she doesn't have an account on here! GGGGGGOOOOO MOMMMMMMMM!!! i luv u!

  3. For the Meanest Mum on Yahoo I nominate

    ♥ Charli ♥ Needs A Holiday

She is so mean, and she loves it.

From your first list I give my votes for Mum of the Year to:

Zaza - I think she is awesome & honest

#6 Bean On Board - Cause she is an Aussie like ME

    And adding

Marks Wifee - She is lovely, although not one of my contacts, she wrote something about me that bought me to tears (good tears, not bad ones.)

AND The Beautiful Angie. I love that woman. Thomas & Kylies Mum ?? She is fantastic!!

    Dad of the Year

Divorcing Dad - I think he rocks.

    Pregnant Mum

Martineeeeeeeeeeeee because she is awesome & I love her

  4. ZaZa(personal favorite, she's got the time and experience in things, that I try to pay extra attention to any advice of hers.

    momof4

    mgnavadomskis #6 bean on board

    Texas Mommy of 2

    Carriehas5

Sam (don't see her on much at all, but when I do..I like her answers)

    KitKat

BoSox27 (she tells it like it is)

REED - proud dad (deffinately a good guy, I hope nothing but the best for his lil ones. He's deffinately got his plate full. Seems to be a very well grounded person).

D*Kat: Is due Aug 4th (Deffinately agree on this one with you. She's got it together, and seems like she will be a great parent. She helped with baby names as well...going with one of the ones she recommended lol.)

Theres so many...My minds going blank, and I can't think of anymore. There's quite a few good ones.

  5. I don't want to be  nominated for anything.  Those other people.  I have never heard of.

Its like somebody said.  What they say on this site and what they do in real life.  Is two different things.

Now me myself I tell it like it is.  It may hurt some peoples feelings.  That is just the way I was made or brought up.  I guess Yahoo Answers can delete it if they don't like it.

  6. awwww, thanks martini!! although i think parenting is a trial and error thing. It is myfirm belief that my children have taught me more than I will ever be capable of teaching them .SO, if I'm a good mother it's because  I have really great kids.  I think every mother has wonderful things about her.... there is no such thing as "the greatest".. but I do agree, there are somereally wonderful parents here

  7. I agree with Momto2.  What people say on the internet, and what they actually DO in their real lives, can be two completely different things.

It's easy to say you are a great mom, and you do this and this and this with your kids, but in real life you might just sit on your a** all day and brag about yourself on yahoo answers.

  8. Aww, thanks.  I'm sure that a lot of people on here wouldn't agree, though ;-)  And, I'm sure that my kids might not agree some of the time, either!

Rainwriterm & branofwinterfell would be high on my list of parents who really treat their children with respect and who find real joy in parenting.   Along with many of the people you listed, too!

What I love is reading through the answers & finding answers from people who post less frequently, but who still seem to really understand what parenting is all about.  It's nice to know, amongst the sea of those of us who talk way too much, that there are 10 times more people quietly going along & doing it all gently, calmly, responsibly, respectfully & joyfully.  It's nice to know that the world will be filled with their children when my children become adults.

  9. I don't agree with everything zaza says, but she definitely sticks out in my mind as a loving and passionate mom. She cares about her kids and her beliefs. You have to respect that!

  10. Charli Needs a Holiday- Best MEAN mummy then (happy now Charli?)
