I had a chance to catch alot of Hakeem and the Rockets game and I have to say Hakeem is the best center of his generation.  And should be up there with the best.  He owned a young Shaq in the finals, he owned Patrick Ewing in his prime, and like you said he owned David Robinson in his prime.  Hakeem over Shaq in his prime anyday.

It's not fair to say about David. What if I say Hakeem without Clyde will be the same. To be honest, Hakeem is a much better all around person while David is a much better defensive mind person. David is more like Ben Wallace, Dennis Rodman type person. I am totally agree Hakeem all over Shaq, Ewing.

hakeem is more of unique player than robinson because of his skill of the dream shake and has very good court vision.

but then again robinson has the athleticism and qualities of a true center.

i go for hakeem olajuwon because i like the uniqueness of the dream shake.
