Who would you prefer to have at as a shooting guard?

Kobe Bryant, Oscar Robertson, or Dwayne Wade?

I personally would prefer The Big O because, quite frankly, the guy is a walking triple-double.

The Big O was a great player no doubt and was definitely one of the most versatile players in nba history. I would still take Kobe. Why? the position is shooting guard and I need someone who is going to put the points up at that position and not be afraid to be the fall guy if we dont win. besides Kobe got 3 titles and Oscar and Dwayne each got 1. Kobe is a better player on both ends of the court. You know how hard it is to finish in the top ten in scoring and finish on the nba first or second all defensive team year after year. the energy you are using to accomplish this as a guard is off the charts.

All of them have there faults.

Kobe is a bit high maintenance, has a on and off outside shot. Other than that he's everything you'd want in a shooting guard. Just wish he wasn't such a head case.

Oscar is really a point guard. Today he'd probably be the equivalent of Gary Payton or Jason Kidd. He wouldn't average a triple double today, more like 25 points, 7 rebounds, 9 assists. Plus, he doesn't have a great outside shot.

Dwayne Wade's outside shot is not exsistant; just a slasher.

So really I don't want any of them.

The perfect shooting guard to me, would have the mentality of Richard Hamilton, very team oriented. The athletcism and built of Michael Jordan, and the outside shooting and clutch ability of Reggie Miller.

Sure Kobe and Oscar can rack up the stats, but basketball is about the W's. If I was starting a franchise, would definitely take either one of them simply because Dwayne is injured so much. If it's just one game we are talking about, I would take Wade. I have never seen some one impact a game the way he does. He is so explosive and impossible to defend. He has a rare quality where he can put his team on his back in crucial situations.
