Did McCain choose Palin because he wanted to win the election, or because she would be the best second-in-command? Is she really better fit than a guy like Romney or Powell should McCain, god fobid, have medical problems in office?

he thinks he will get the women's vote. Instead I think he's just lost the race. It's desperate really...

This is what will happen... Obama will win because everyone is sick of Bush. Things will go to c**p (even worse than now...) and Romney will run in 2012, and win. That's just the way I see it. The media has already placed Obama in the office and anointed him to the oval office.

I think Colin Powell and Tom Ridge have experience and could handle themselves in a difficult situation.  I don't have much confidence in Romney and have zero confidence in Palin.
