  1. Both had injury last years - I would probably go with Bulger but I think you can't go wrong with either one as a backup.

  2. This depends... but you were careful to phrase your question here.

As a back-up QB -- I definitely take Delhomme.  His off-season surgery went well, and he has some really nice adds at receiver to help him (and Steve Smith) this year.  Reunited with Muhsin Muhammad (Pro-Bowl when last in CAR) and the addition of D.J. Hackett from SEA set Delhomme up nicely.  The best part is that he has absolutely no back-up QB to contend with... so Carolina's management has bet the bank and season on Delhomme's arm.

As for Bulger, if he was my starting QB, I may lean to him in a very, very slight edge.  He is a tad safer, but not by much and not nearly as attractive as a back-up.  He is a INT machine and you pretty much know what you are getting with him (and will have to pay the price for him in your draft).  However, with Delhomme, his price will be low in your draft and his potential ceiling this year is high.  So he presents a much better value pick.  Rather than spending a high price for a back-up of the quality of Bulger, use those picks on WR and RBs and scoop Delhomme up later.

  3. lol....well lets put it into perspective. Bulger was a top 4 QB the past 3 years. Delholmmee was not even a top tier Backup. Bulger's injury was not one that would affect his career. Therefore, Bulger is 2x the Fantasy Delholmmee would be

  4. If you want to start both, join a two QB league.  See Yahoo 155966, 156117, 156234, or 1546301, looking for teams in fun league.
