ramirez by far,reyes not sure if he's a team player, too many problems with his own team, and, ramirez just plain better shortstop

hanley ramirez hands down. the only thing i don't like about both of them is their defense at shortstop.

Reyes only because he ignites the mets offence, Hanley has great numbers and hes a great player but when Reyes does good so does the Mets, When Hanley does good sometimes the Marlins do

Hanley has everything that Jose has with the additional benefit of more power.  Edge to Hanley who is probably the best overall shortstop in the game today.

Im a mets fan and i have to say hanley just because he is more mature than reyes and hes more patient at the plate.
