placido.  had a rough start, but is in a deadly lineup and is a guy who can get on twice a game easily which means good numbers in avg. obp and runs.  Don't expect him to help in the rbi or HR categories, but I'll take him over Weeks anyday

Placido Polonco is one of the most consistent hitters in the game and he is also a good fielder but he is struggling to get started this season. he is batting .312 as of today and he won the silver slugger award last year and also a gold glove award. he might be the best all around second basemen in the game. then there is Rickie Weeks. he is a rising young second baseman but recently he has suffered from a sprained left knee but he was taken off of the DL today. he is only batting .208 but he has hit 7 home runs compared to placido's 3. he has been injured for a while but he is also a prominent base stealer and a solid fielder. all in all for fantasy baseball this season i would take polonco because he is very consistent and well rounded. in a few years i would take Rickie though. so go with polonco. good luck with your fantasy team!
