Who would you rather have on your team? Hanley Ramirez or Ryan Braun?

Tough one for me but i'd have to take hanley as the better all around player. What do you think?

Hanley Ramirez is a much more all around player. Ryan Braun is really good, don't get me wrong, but he's not the fastest guy in the bunch and isn't too great on defense since being moved to LF from 3B, he's mainly a HR and RBI guy. Hanley has good power, speed, and is an above average defender and if he wasn't a lead off hitter he would be a great RBI guy. Put Hanley on the Cubs and make Ryan Theriot a 2B and keep using DeRosa as a utility guy and I'd be a very happy man. If you had Hanley is that 5 spot for the Cubs after Lee and Ramirez and he would easily get above 100 RBIs every year. Plus, there isn't anywhere for Braun to play on the Cubs.

Anytime a guy is going to join the 30/30 club, I'll put him on my roster in a heartbeat.

Hanley Ramirez - better speed and he plays a more important position.  You can throw a lot of barely capable major league players in left field and still come out with a good defensive team, you can't do that at SS.

Hanley Ramirez, years ago in Boston's farm system he had no pop in his bat. But he is such a good hitter, he adjusted and is now pushing 30 jacks coupled with he has speed. He is a five tool infielder, solid glove. Braun has a great bat but is a HUGE liability on defense.

I agree...it's a tough choice, but I'll have to go with Hanley Ramirez just because of position and speed. If Hanley was to be placed around 3-4 (which I do not approve of) in a batting order, he would have as many RBIs Braun would have. The both have the same amount of power (but Braun does have the slight advantage)....AND Ramirez has way more speed than Braun and is a better overall fielder.

Hanley Ramirez because he is just now getting started and he is is what braun couldnt be, an infielder
