Who would you trust more for a couple more seasons, Vince Carter or Ray Allen?

Both are aging and might not live up to their expectations anytime soon (Not saying they're going to suck, but anything is possible) but at this point, who would you trust more?

Ray Allen, Just because he can bring his talent out when he needs to and he is a great team player. And also he is a very good shooter and offensive player.

It depends. If I have a team that already has a star player I'd take Ray Allan. But if I had one that I needed a star I'd take Vince Carter. Vince Carters the better all around player. So he could be the number one option for a few more years. Allan only has his shooting ability left. So I'd only take him if I had a Wade or Lebron on my team already.

Vince Carter's game is more reliant on athleticism, Ray's on shooting.

Both are insanely good at what they do.

But as they age, both will lose athleticism. It is much much harder to lose your jump  shot. Given this fact, i will say that Vince will be earthbound like the rest of us humans, while Ray goes out and stands at the three point line and nails em.

I'd say Ray Allen since his role on the Celtics is just a shooter. That means Allen can play longer on the court as long as he gets open and plays defense. Also Allen has played entire games(or close) during this season

I think Vince, Ray Allen got recognition because of the Celtics but remember that he didn't do sh*t with the Sonics.

I'd take Vince Carter. I don't see how Ray Allen is more of a team player since neither are very good at making those around them better. While on the Sonics and Celtics, he's only been to the playoffs twice and both of those teams were stacked.

Sure, Ray Allen is a good three point shooter: 39.7% career. Vince Carter has made 37.5% in his career. Not much of a difference.

Vince Carter is also a much more explosive player, a better rebounder, and he's better at creating his own shot.

I think they both have at least 3 good seasons left. If I had a chance to add one to my team I think it would be Allen.
