Who would your rather have on your team? Brandon Webb OR Cliff Lee???

Brandon Webb for me cause this isnt the first time hes had a great season.

Also this is the first of many so get used to seeing them :D

Brandon Webb, no doubt.  Cliff Lee is just having a fluke season, he stunk last year.  Webb has much better stuff, has been one of the best pitchers in baseball the last 3 years and has postseason experience.  Also, he has a great sinker that keeps the ball in the ballpark and means he can pitch well in both leagues.  He can also strikle guys out when needed and racks up innings.

I feel, at least this year, Cliff Lee is the better pitcher and would deserve the Cy Young if there was only one for the entire MLB. Lee has a better winning percentage, lower ERA, better strikeout to walk ratio, and all while playing on a much worse team. However, this season could be a fluke. Remember, Brandon Webb won the Cy Young last year. They will both win the Cy Young this year, and both are extremely dominant. If it was for just this year, I would take Lee. If it was to sign for a five-year contract, I would take Webb in a heartbeat.

Brandon Webb. He's a very consistent pitcher and he has some nasty stuff.

I dont find this debatable. Brandon Webb is the most consistent pitcher and as of this second the best pitcher in the MLB. Webb by far over Lee

Here's the way I look at this:  if I'm basing this on their overall careers, I would definitely take Webb, and it's not even close.

However, if this year is even remotely close to what we can expect from Lee in upcoming years, I would take him.  Why?  Because he's a left hander, and there are a lot more dominant right handers then lefties.

Cliff Lee is a fluke remember 2 years ago he won 18 games also
