  1. Raymond Folwer wrote the Andreasson Affair.

He used hypnosis and recalled memory techniques to get the data for writing this book.  It's pretty well accepted--by scientists, medical doctors, the legal system--that these techniques are more than a little suspect when used to obtain reliable data.

Fowler himself believes he was abducted, so his perspective is not impartial in the least bit.

You refer to this book non-fiction.  It is not non-fiction.

  2. Ray Fowler. He's probably the best ufo (MUFON) investigator and writer of ufo sightings and alleged alien abductions in the New England area. He's well into his 70s now.

If you can, read The Allagash Abductions - about four men who claimed to have been abducted along the Maine Allagash waterway, back the 1970s. It's a detailed , long book but Fowler tries to get as much corraborating evidence and other  information into his books as possible. [ And some of the men had previous and ongoing encounters]

Fowler, in his later years (along with his brother) faced the uncomfortable recollections of bizarre incidents in their own lives and suspected they too were abductees. Their late-mother had similar bizarre incidents.

Fowler now thinks his fascination , over the years,  to investigate ufo sightings (and then abductions) is because of his own past that he finally came to terms with.

  3. Non-fiction UFO abduction?I doubt it.An author can say anything he want, I guess.
