I believe I've found the source of all those "Aryan" culture questions appearing in various sections. Apparently the term appears in a World Civilization textbook called Traditions and Encounters: A Brief Global History. I am now curious as to who the writer is and why he or she used the term Aryan instead of Indo-Aryan or Indoeuropean and how this got past the editors? If people are going to use the term Aryan they really should add a footnote explaining why they prefer this term given the negative connotations of its usage by certain groups? So who wrote this text book?
