I expect the same 2 teams in the finals. Lakers win this time with a more aggressive team, and a starting center, Andrew Bynum, who is bigger and better and will be more capable of shutting down the big 3 of Boston.

I think it will be a match of the Heat and the Lakers next year and Heat will win. I would say Celtics would win again but they blew it trading Posey... So i believe it will be the heat.

the suns you gonna see,shaq is gonna dominate like he used to in his first year in miami,hes gonna have about 20pts 12 rbs a game and play solid defense , amare´s gonna be a scoring machine bout 28pts a game(he didnt go to the olympics to prepare for the season),nash wont score so much only about 12 points but he worked on his defense and gonna be the 2nd best point guard in the league(after cp3) and average about 12apg,raja bell gonna hit threes and defend other superstar shhotig guards like iverson or kobe and grant hill will be a good role player and a good mental leader cause of his experience. The suns will learn from their mistakes in the series against san antoinio and will learn how to use shaq and he will learn their system and plays. Robin Lopez will improve the team defense and shaq will be more efective because he can rest cause he knows he got a strong backup center,matt barnes is a very good new player  ,too.hes one of the most underrated players in the league , remember him in the 2007 playoffs? the warriors would never beat the mavericks without him....i think their new coach is very good too(terry porter) and bill cartwright their assistant coach will help to improve the skills of their big men,he was the starting center of the first 3peat bulls back in the day                                       hope i helped and god bless yoou

In the Western Conference I see either the Lakers or Spurs playing in the finals. In the Eastern Conference I see the Boston Celtics or Miami Heat advancing to the finals.

los angeles lakers because they got andrew bynum back. so everytime pau gasol gets tired they can put in bynum. the problem in this year is that everytime pau gasol gets tired they put in ronny turiaf. im not saying turiaf sucks, what i mean is that bynum is better than bynum. to beat the celtics, lakers have to put a hard defense against paul pierce, KG, and ray allen. if the lakers is able to do that, they will be able to win NBA finals 2008-2009

Rockets didn't past 1st round with T MAC hopefully they do it some day

Suns has no defense u cant win a title without defense

Pistons are stuck in east final there fans are haters so how can they make it over and over again

Lakers are ok, just like Pistons fan Lakers fans are annoying  they always say Bynum and Bynum its not one man team its 16 men team.

Bynum wont take Lakers anywhere trust me. Maybe 2 game or 10 not all of them.

LOL.  OK.  If I actually stood to win or lose money based on my answer to this question, this would not be my pick.  But I have nothing to lose, so what the h**l.  What's the fun of having a favorite team if you're not a total homer right?

I do think that people who think Miami has any kind of chance at winning the NBA Final are a little loopy.  You don't go from the worst team in the league to NBA Champion, unless you keep your star player (Paul Pierce) and add two future Hall of Famer's to your roster (Allen, Garnett) in the off season.  Miami has 1/3 of that, they managed to hang onto Wade, but Beasley and Chalmers are rookies, and Marion obviously struggles if he isn't in D' Antoni's offense.  I don't mean to get down on Miami, I mean the East sucks and I'm sure they have a nice chance to make the playoffs, but with teams like the Pistons, Celtics, Raptors, 76ers, Cavs, Magic and Wizards I'm not sure what you think Miami did this off-season to catapult them past all of those teams.
