Whoever help me get 10points ?

Question

My computer kept rebooting and it had been rebooting 8times today and a few times yesterday. I not sure when it started to become like this, but when i scanned for virus with AVG 8.0, it rebooted halfway scanning, i try scanning for second time but still rebooted halfway. Perhaps when it scan till the virus it auto reboot again. Please help me =(( i can't play my game properly.. whoever solve it get 10points

its definitely a virus or nuisance program of some kind, what i recommend is back up everything important to you on the computer and do a complete reformat of your computer. goodluck!

When ur computer boots, keep pressing F8(or ctrl) key on the keyboard to bring up a menu , and then choose the "best known good confiugration option" . this may solve the problem.

Try rebooting in safe mode,then scan for any virus(if possible)

you can also try the startup troubleshooter in windows-"Help and support"

Install Avast home edition and schedule boot scan..

I would suggest A) backing up all your data to an external hard drive or DVDs or CDs, then B) consulting a professional to come and look at your computer.

I would strongly advise getting someone in to look at it.
