Whole Roasted Chipotle Chicken recipe?

I had the best chicken I have ever tasted in a restaurant in Mexico in the state of Veracruz. It was either in Cordoba or Oaxaca. It was a whole roasted chicken that they brought to the table on a platter. I cannot remember what the sides were, because the chicken was so fabulous, that's all I ate. That's all they served at this place - no variations - one menu item. And as I recall, the bill was $10 and that included a couple of beers. I really NEED this wonderful taste again. They had the chicken on a rotisserie and then finished it on the stove. Does anyone have a recipe?

Roasted Chicken is a very common meal for Mexicans.....So many Mexican franchises now offer the same product with their particular taste.....

All Roasted Chickens are cooked the same way.....it is just the "salsa", marinade what changes the flavour....

In any Mexican Supermarket you will find "Chipotle Chili Sauce"......(or just buy the Chipotle Chilis, put them on a blender with water, salt, pepper, lemon and tomatoes).......once you got the Chipotle Sauce, just put it iver the chicken and let it marinade for an entire day.....after that you may roast it.....

Another Salsa options are:

-Achiote (Red Condiment which you can also mix with the Chipotle Sauce).

-Tamarindo (Tamarindo Salsa is offred in Mex Supermarkets and it gives the chicken a sweet and sour taste).
