I am baking a carrot cake and I just realized it calls for 3/4c whole wheat flour and 1/12c regular flour, do you think it is ok to use all regular flour? I hate to have to run out to the store again!!!! Will it affect the baking?

  1. No, it's fine! You may want to add an extra tbl flour or some wheat germ or ground flax seed. The texture will still be little less dense than a regular carrot cake. enjoy!

  2. Using all white will have an adverse affect on the taste.  Do you have a neighbor that you can borrow 3/4 of a cup from?
