It's a bit of a long story so I'll avoid the major details but let's just say I have never encounter such disrespect from any employee, let alone a manager. I had to struggle with the manager to even get her name and then she left without a care in the world. I have written a letter and was planning on sending it but I have recently been told that each McDonalds has their own owner so the highest it will go up is the owner of that particular location. If that's true, does that mean that I cannot send the letter to any corporate office? I am extremely infuriated and am planning on sending various copies - if that's what it takes - to whomever will truly do something about this. I don't just want to tell one manager and let that be over. The treatment I received reached such levels to which I am no longer planning on returning to ANY McDonalds. Whom do I write to? What is the best way of making sure the higher corporate members are aware of my complaint? And how do I make sure the manager will not ONLY receive a slap on the hand but a real punishment; the loss of her employment if that may be? Thank you all so much. The following is a minor explanation of the things the manager did.

  1. Write to the head guy himself:

    R. McDonald, Ph.D.

    Hamburger University

    McDonald's Corporation

    1 Hamburger Plaza

    Oak Brook, IL 60523

You might also try Mayor McCheese but he was recently indicted for corruption.

  2. here is the easiest way to reach them. It doesn't even cost any money to email it.

    http://www.mcdonalds.com/contact/contact...

    Good Luck...

  3. Theres a big gap missing in this story.....why did you need to speak to a manager in the first place?....what you should do is call the owner of that Mcdonalds and complain......then put the complaint in writing and in the complaint, ask for a follow up call.

  4. Usually at the location they will have a phone number posted that you can call for problems with that location. I would go back there and take that number down.

  5. Look on your receipt and the corporate number should be on there.  Good Luck complaining though...I was so ticked once at a McDonalds and I never heard back from anyone after I made a complaint to corporate.  I had a legitimate complaint too.  I would love for you to post more details about what happened.  Did that girl ever give you her name?

  6. this is in phsycology why?????

  7. What does this experience have to do with Psychology?

  8. McDonalds are franchises and "owned" by different people. In most of the ones I have been in the owner name and phone # are posted on the wall. If not then I would get the 800 number and call ....they can probably pass the complaint to the owner.

  9. Call McDonalds corporate. I would like to hear the whole story, but even if you choose not to tell us it you should complain if you were mistreated.
