I believe in both.Love is not arranged but any body falls in love it can be converted in as if it an arranged marriage.Love can be one sided also.Particularly in such case it can be arranged

Commitment and true love after marriage, whether love or arrange marriage, are most important. If one falls in love, marry the person and keeps his / her commitment, nothing like that. However, if one settles for arrange marriage, he / she needs to keep the commitment for good healthy relationship.

Otherwise, either of the marriage options without commitment and true love are subject to same disaster.

What do you by this question ??? Do you mean, by saying arranged marriage, that you would marry anyone who is "selected" by your parents or anyone(like in a market)??? Dont you want to like or love the girl you want to spend all your life with??? I am not saying parents are wrong but you have to know what do you want to do with your life!!! Your parents or anyone else is not going to live with her for your lifetime. You like the girl, then marry otherwise never!!! And with our Indian arranged marriages, there is nothing you can do with your life if you marry in regular style. If the girl and you are not compatibile??? NO one will be happy... not you, not your parents, not your wife(if married) and not her parents.

And love marriage??? What do you mean by that??? You see a girl in your nieghborhood or class or office or on the road or wherever and say you are in love??? and you want to marry her??? Even then you would know nothing about life!!!

Com' on dear ... marriage itself is a game .... a lottery. If you get a good and understanding wife, you are happy and if not ????? What ever the case ... love mariage or arranged or love-arranged ... you are gone for balls...!!!

So I tell you not to marry at all ... only the person who has never married has lived his life happily and lived completely without unneccesary problems and headaches.

depends on your culture.  it's always better to marry someone you're in love with i think, but at the same time, it might not make for a good marriage.  but marriage without love could be miserable too.  guess the key is balance.  try to (if your marriage has to be arranged because of tradition), well get your parents to marry you off to at least someone who you're attracted to.  and test his intelligence level too.  make sure it meets yours.  nothing worse than talking to an idiot and being stuck to him the rest of your life.  yikes!!!  smart and attractive, that's what you need to go for.  and maybe you'll learn to love him with a passion eventually.  if not, at least you'll be content.  good luck to ya hun.

Arranged marriage might have a better rate of success. Not sure if it makes the person happier. The fact is that if you stay with a person long enough, you will learn to love them.

Love marriage are often based on passion, which fades after a while. However, because it is the person's choice and noone else's, it is usually a stronger love at that moment, and in my opinion, it is more worthed.

to ask that question to most of us we have always had the chose to marry for love, however in the event of arranged marriages the ones involved know this is the only chose and probably did not know any other way, it was how their parents married and their grandparents etc..

In the end one chooses to Love if in an arranged marriage  it is up to them to chose to love just as we chose to love before we marry.
