Whom would you prefer answer your Alternative Science questions?

A.Anyone interested enough to answer.

B.A paranormal investigater to explain why you should believe.

C.Those who think like you do.

In the alternative section I will choose 'A' because I would rather have a lot of silly answers than no answers at all.

If I was asking in the Do It Yourself Dentistry section I would like to be answered by people who own a little mirror on a stick and a cordless drill.

It depends on the kind of question, but usually:

E. None of the above.

I'd prefer someone who answers using objective, verifiable, scientific information, rather than their personal opinions, anecdotes, or unverified ideas.

Also, not all paranormal investigators _do_ believe.  For example, Joe Nickell has investigated the paranormal for decades, and he says you _shouldn't_ believe.

Personally, I don't care whether the answerers think like I do or not, what I am interested in is good objective evidence.

I don't know, but If I am asking it on here, I am not really expecting to get an answer that satisfies me. Better to check wikipedia.

I think I'm having deja vu all over again!

Definitely D.  All are welcome. B is also welcome, but what about the reasons not to believe?  C is comforting, but the reason to ask is to get a viewpoint outside your own.

I would prefer we not have anything called "alternative" science.   This stuff should be sent off to the society and culture pages along with horoscopes.
