Nemanja Vidic is. Not because I am a United fan but he has a confident attitude when partnering Rio Ferdinand. Jamie Carragher gave up on England by retiring. This is not the attitude a player needs. Don&#039;t get me wrong, he is a great and loyal defender for Liverpool but Vidic is great aerial and have also watched Cole and Yorke partnership videos to help his partnership with Ferdinand.

The winnings say it all. Carragher is yet to win anything other than an FA Cup. Vidic has helped United win a Champions League and Premier League.

Carragher is better at all attribute but lose to Vidic on goalscoring.

In most cases I would argue Carragher, because he is much more experienced and versatile player.

However you also have to look at the age difference, Vidic is much younger and probably that makes him a tad better then Carragher.

Carragher, he has more experience, and more teams would like him in the team, because of his ambition, hes not one to move clubs, and he is british. cant beat him!!!
