Ascot are giving it a go. They’re trying to tempt connections over for either the royal meeting or for the King George. They’ve managed it before. They got Wesley Ward to bring some horses over for last year’s Royal Ascot and two of them won.
And, back in 2004, Ken McPeek brought Hard Buck over to finish second in the King George. So it can be done but don’t hold your breath.
