I am! I got a job commentating in France so I'm really looking forward to it, particularly because my other job - my real job, is also in France so I only have to spend like a couple of hours at work and I get paid as though I'd done a proper week's work!

This doesn't bode well for the services sector and hospitality at and around the event, however I've been living here for seven years and can assure you that there are enough MacDonalds and Holiday Inns in France for the laziness of the people not to disturb your enjoyment of the rugby.

I am looking forward to it, at least to see whether New Zealand, who must be the greatest XV ever assembled, can finally bury the choker label and actually win a world cup.

There should be some great games along the way, in the Ire/Fra/Arg group and in the quarter finals and beyond.

My England XV would be (may not be though!): Morgan, Strettle, Hipkiss, Flood, Robinson, Wilkinson, Ellis, Stevens, Chuter, Vickery, Corry, Borthwick, Moody, Rees, Ward Smith or Easter.

New Zealand will surely surely win this time.  They have an awesome team, and their reserves would come pretty close the the cup too.

I am most definitely ready.  While I love the Irish side the best, I think it's either going to be the Springboks or the All-Blacks.
