  1. Who has a choice?

You either are or you are not.

    It's not an achievement.

  2. I'm proud to be Scottish because of all the accomplishments of my fellow Scots. I admire Scottish women for their outspokeness.

I'm ashamed to be an American-yep, I emigrated with my hubby--because of all the calculated evil done by this country in the name of greed.  I am, however, proud of how most American men treat women with respect, and, unlike older Scotsmen, help with the housework. Yep-I divorced the Scot and married an American.

I'd be even more ashamed to be Russian or Slavic  because of their support of brutal regimes, whether in the name of communism or Catholicism, and because of the way they still treat women.  Even their male immigrants to the UK and the US still treat women like dirt.

  3. Am not, because I'm not British!

  4. yeah man, british people f*cking rule!

  5. Only British and no one else.

  6. I'm proud to be an American of Scottish, Ulster Irish, and English descent.

  7. yes, who's proud to be a member of a failing brutal empire?  who's proud of the way you've treated the scots and the irish?  and you're magnificent dealings with india?

What on earth has britain ever done that you could possibly take pride in?

  8. GO AMERICANS!!!!

  9. No, PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN!!!!

  10. Well, I consider myself as British...

Though I do like my home country, my heart lies in England=)

So yeah, I'm proud to be British!

  11. British people are all right in my book!

  12. English and Irish ancestory and American born. Roots are nice. Grateful for them. Grateful for the people who up and rerooted too.

  13. ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  14. If I were British, then I certainly would be proud to be British!

  15. I've recently moved to Cyprus to live, and I will do everything in my power to promote, protect and respect my new home country (I chose Cyprus because it has good qualities as well as a climate more suitable for my retiring years), but I was borne and raised in England, served 14 years in Her Majesty's Royal Marines, and remain a member of the Monarchy Association, etc., etc.

I will ALWAYS be proud to be British, though I am ashamed and angry that some people, use their new found British Citizenship as tickets to commit crimes and offend other countries while hiding under the Union Jack.  I would kick their arses right out of Britain if I had half the chance.

  16. i wish i was british..... for the accent... but NOT the food!

  17. I certainly am. A stunning group of four countries, a history that spans millennia and a language that is one of the most spoken in the world - all from a tiny country whose people talk about the weather all the time. You can't get better.

  18. I am!!!

  19. me

  20. Brits are okay its that Royalty that is the problem !

  21. Well I'd rather be British than a lot of things lol, and I feel grateful to be born in one of the most priviledged nations but sometimes people's shallow attitudes (which you get a lot of in the west these days) get on my nerves but overall yes.

  22. First and foremost, it would probably be easier to be proud of being British, if the person was from Great Britain.  I'm not, so I'm not.

  23. My peeps came from Great Britain (mostly). Does that count?

  24. im not....hahahaha
