Kevin Garnett hands down. I think he was drafted in 1996. Straight out of high school. First player in nearly 20 years. Today its more common. But thats a factor as to why he is better. Plus he carried the Timberwolves organization for the over 10 years. MVP in what, 2003 i think? Not looking to bad. As far as i am concerned, there is noone better in the NBA with the exception of MAYBE Lebron James. Any big name has always had a decent set of players with him. Kevin had that luxury for maybe 2 years when latrell sprewell and sam cassell were in town. Thats it.

KG actually kept his teams in the playoffs year after year... which peirce never did and the same goes for allen. K.G. he's won an MVP and now a defensive player of the year award. its K.G. no doubt about it.

Easily Kevin Garnett. Ray Allen is definitely not in this conversation as he is just a shooter mainly. Paul pierce scores a lot and gets assists but KG does everything he needs to. Brings intensity to the defense, plays great defense, draws players into the post then kicks it out, scores when he needs to, fires up the team, veteran leadership, REBOUNDS. He is an amazing player and is even underrated which may sound crazy but he should be up there with kobe, lebron and cp3 as the best players in the league right now
