  1. Roger federer and pete sampras. Nadal probabley will be in a couple of years becoz he's onli young

  2. Roger Federer,I think.He‘s the best one.

  3. Maybe Rod Laver, as experts consider him. He's the only tennis player who has won the all four Grand Slam ; in 1962 and, after turning professionnal, in 1969.

But at that time, the US Open and Australian Open were on grass.

For me, the best is Ivan Lendl. His forehand, his mental, his personnality, his incredible efforts to improving his game, his kind of beauty...

He won 8 Grand Slam, but never Wimbledon.

  4. 1st. Rodger Federer

    2nd. Rafael Nadal

  5. bjorn borg........

becoz he played till 26 and made 12 grandslames.

  6. That's really a tough question, actually there were many....let's see, depends on what grabs your gonads.....hmmmmmm...

Arthur Ashe - graceful and elegant

John McEnroe - bratty and fierce

Bjorn Borg - strong and precise

Peta Sampras - reliable and athletic

Andre Agassi - controlled and savvy

Roger Federer - knowledgeable and graceful

Rafael Nadal - thinker and strong

Out of the above, right now at this moment I would have to pic Bjorn Borg, although NEVER winning the US Open.  As his records are being over taken by the new generation of tennis, he will always be one of the First Big Names in Tennis, although extremely close with his Undeniable record is second is Pete Sampras, both of they're tennis history speaks volumes.   Federer has closed a gap though is knocking on Pete's back right now.

BTW women I would have to say "Martina Navratolova".

  7. Bjorn Borg

  8. MEN:

    1) Pete Sampras (14 GS Titles; record 6 consecutive year end #1)

    2) Roger Federer (12 GS Titles; record 238 consecutive weeks #1)

    3) Roy Emmerson (12 GS Titles)

    4) Rod Laver (11 GS Titles; 2 time calander grandslam)

    5) Bjorn Borg (11 GS Titles; 3 time French/Wimbledon double)

    6) Bill Tildon (10 GS Titles)

    7) Andre Agassi (8 GS Titles; career grandslam; record 17 masters titles)

    8) Ivan Lendl (8 GS Titles; record 8 consecutive US Open finals)

    9) Jimmy Connors (8 GS Titles; record 1,337 match wins)

    10) John McEnroe (7 GS Titles; best season win/loss record 82-3)

Honorable Mentions: Boris Becker, Stefan Edberg, Mats Wilander, John Newcombe

    WOMEN:

    1) Margaret Court (24 GS titles; calander grandslam)

    2) Steffi Graf (22 GS titles; calander golden grandslam)

    3) Martina Navratilova (18 GS titles; career GS; record 167 titles)

    10) Evonne Goolagong (7 GS titles)

Honorable Mentions: Martina Hingis, Althea Gibson, Lindsay Davenport, Virginia Wade.

  9. your stinkin as s.

sorrry, i jsut felt like saying that.

roger federer is good but he's losing to rafael nadal (:

isn't it weird that both their first names start with "r"? so if your kid is name robert or something you can get ready to bet he's gonna be a tennis player (:

  10. sapmras

  11. still Roger up until now

Let's hope he would recover soon the #1 spot

    good luck Fed

    10)  Virginia Wade

Honorable mention:  Arantxa Sánchez Vicario, Lindsay Davenport, Jennifer Capriati.

On the men's side, it's more difficult to say, but here's my list:

    1)  Rod Laver

    2)  Bjorn Borg, Ivan Lendl, Pete Sampras, Roger Federer

    6)  Jimmy Connors

    7)  Rafael Nadal (He'll probably move up on the list)
