  1. There are a number of reputable domain registrars you can pick from.

My faves are 1and1.com, Netfirms, Namecheap and Name.com -- they all have a good reputation.  If you are looking for more of a full service solution for starting an online business you may want to consider Yahoo for your registration and hosting -- they are considerably more expensive but are geared towards small businesses.

When registering a domain consider that some registrars do not include private registration (which enables you to keep you contact information hidden) and charge a premium for it (for example GoDaddy charges an extra $8 a year I believe for this service)

If its just down to price -- take a look at DomainNamePricer.com which compares the domain registration prices across the top registrars

  2. Hi, it's Nina from Florida. GDI is the Best place to register your domain. Only $9.95/month, month to month with no contract. And it is one of  the best places to make real income. See for yourself:

  3. Have a look at this article about web hosting at http://clickdigitalproducts.com/web-host... it explains what you need to think about when you are going to setup a website. I use the Lunarpages basic hosting plan mentioned in the article and your website hosting fee also includes a free domain name and I find it good value.

  4. All domain names are registered the same way, its just that some places charge higher fees to register it with them than others. Theres no particular reason for this. The cheapest domain registrar I know of and use, who have excellent customer service is www.namecheap.com. Just register your domain and learn how to design a basic website. You should be able to have a basic website up and running with a few days/weeks, depending on how large you want it. Certainly nothing to get confused about.

  5. I always use 1&1.

  6. Take a look at the website below, they have online chat, so talk to them and they will help you with setting up a domain.

  7. If you are going to register a domain then the best way to register a domain for free is to purchase your domain and webhosting together. In this way it is possible to get your domain for free. Some webhosting companies offer this as a gift . I am using bluehost webhosting for mine
