James Butler lost a decision to Richard Grant. After the gloves were off Grant approached Butler with arms outstretched went to give Butler a hug. Butler instead cracked Grant in the face knocking him down and hurting him pretty bad. That was back in 2000/2001.

Butler was arrested and sent to prison. Later in 2005 or 06 he was charged with the murder of Max Kellerman's brother who was allowing the recently released Butler to stay at his home.
