Aside from the obvious names, Gordon Elliot still has a 30% strike-rate for the season with his British runners. Some of his statistics are a bit obvious such as a 50% strike-rate at Cartmel being one winner from two runners but, over the last couple of seasons, he’s done really well at Perth with 34 winners from 119 runners at a strike-rate of 29%. In terms of a level –stakes profit it has to be David Pipe. Bit of a surprise really – you’d think he’d have plenty of well-backed runners – but he’s top man at a profit of 61.69.
