The aptly-named Young Tom Morris, who won the Open for the first time at the age of 17 in 1868 at Prestwick Golf Club. He won the Open again in 69, 70 and 72, a feat that's never been matched since, and during his 1869 victory he also scored a hole in one. He was the son of Old Tom Morris, a green-keeper at St Andrews who, bizarrely, went on to be the oldest winner at the Open. Young Tom died at the age of 24, reportedly of a heart attack, though there's some suggestion that he never recovered from the death of his wife.
