  1. lots of teams have improved this year so its hard to pick

I would have said the dogs until a few weeks ago.. it looks like last year

i wont be surprised if they bounce back

I am going to say Carlton and Richmond

From the bottom to the middle and look good for years to come

    Carlton beats Richmond just...

  2. Definitely the Blues. A few of the top draft picks are starting to become mature players and in about 2 years they will be back up the top i reckon. The bulldogs have improved a bit but they were already decent last year. Also they have lost a few games recently and could lose more before the season is out.

  3. An easy one to answer. The West Coast Eagles.

  4. CARLTON

dude check out how well there goiin nowww.

They hav a lot more confidence but theres still room for improvement

  5. Nth melb cos they winning more games

  6. The Bulldogs are good and they have impressed, however i reakon the best team over the last 2 years is North Melbourne

They go underdogs every year expected to finish in the bottom 4 and they end up in the top 4..........with the list they have, well done north you have my respect

  7. I think both the Dogs and Carton also the Kanagroos have stepped up a lot!

  8. Bulldogs and Carlton

Bulldogs are playing great footy this year after finishing 13th last year, in contention for the Premiership sitting in 3rd spot.

Carlton have been bound to improve with all the good young kids they have, the inclusion of Judd helps too. Murphy and Gibbs are playing some great footy this year.

  9. Im a north fan and the fact of the matter is we finished in the top 4 last year so we haven't improved that much. I think the hawks have improved considering they weren't a premiership chance last year and the dogs who  didn't even play finals last year.

  10. Richmond

  11. I think this year doggies or the hawks.

  12. DOGS AND CARLTON

  13. Kangaroos/North Melbourne (compared to 2006) and Western Bulldogs (13th to 3rd)

And if you ask me this next year i will say West Coast Eagles 15th this year to the top 8 next year! I think carlton aren't the most improved from 15th - 10th this year but once again if you ask this next year they will also be up there.

    I TOLD YOU.

  14. richmond and carlton 50/50

  15. **I think it'd be either Carlton or Richmond.  I wasn't expecting either team to go too well this year and while I don't think Richmond will make the finals I still think they've come a long way from where they were at last year.**

  16. Carlton?

Nah, the Tigers have improved more. Dead last last year, and we are still a chance to make the 8 after rd 20. Blues are gawn for the year, we will finish above them.

  17. Geelong;

    07'  18 - 4

    08'  21 - 1

  18. I think the obvious answer would be the Dogs - from 13th to 3rd, but the real ones that jumped at me were the Kangaroos and Carlton. Even though the Kangaroos made it to the Preliminary Final last year - I think they are a much improved side that went down to the Power in last years Preliminary Final. Carlton, well what can I say. 15th to 10th, not a huge ladder surge - but still a major performance this year. Even though with the likes of Judd and Stevens around there, you've still got the guys like Murphy, Gibbs, Carrazzo and Waite standing up this year, with Fevola in the frame with 84 goals this year, and hopefully for him he gets 100 - he deserves it after a stellar year.

    Blues all the way.

  19. although i'm a huge hater of the blues... they have really turned it around... think of their average position over the last 3 seasons (last to second last), now they are a real chance to make the 8

my other most improved team would be the hawks (to be different and not say dogs)... they've seemed to have found another gear...

  20. I think the main 1 is Western Bulldogs (obviously).

Richmond and Carlton have come a fair way and so have the Kangaroos.

(EXTRA) You don't need to read

BULLDOGS, really picked up what they dropped from 06'

BLUES & TIGERS, Have used their young player list and improved them. (a bit more to go)

    N. MELB, have definitely reached consistency now and are playing good football from where they were.

  21. You took my two. The Bulldogs have improved so much since their second half of last year's season.  I hope that their form stays high going into finals. And, as much as I hate to say this (I feel like such a traitor!), Carlton/Cheaters have improved. I didn't expect them to be in contention for the eight.

  22. The Bulldogs.
