  1. Matthew Lombardi from the Flames. He scored 6 goals shorthanded last season and also was a great backchecker with his amazing speed.

  2. Steve Yzerman from back in the day, but i guess he's a hall-of-famer

I got to see Dallas Drake penalty kill game in and game out and he was really good at it... and Draper...

  3. Henrik Zetterberg.  That 5 on 3 during the Stanley Cup finals...oh boy I remember that.  That is the definition of a two-way player.

  4. Micheal Peca used to be a top knoch penalty killer.

  5. rolston!

  6. Finally, a real Hockey question!

There must be 98% bogus stuff hitting this forum.

Anyway, to answer your question ~ the Caps have a guy named David Steckel who kills penalties very well due to his long reach and tenacity. He had been a first round draft choice of the L.A. Kings a few years ago that they released and the Caps signed as a free agent. He is also excellent at face offs. He plays center and at 6' 5", he's a lot to contend with.

  7. blair betts

  8. Rod Brindamour and John Madden.

  9. Curtis Brown was a great one when he was on the sabres

  10. You did spell his name right.

Having been a Habs fan for over 20 years I nominate Guy Carbonneau :)

Modern-era I will say either Jere Lehtinen or Brian Rolston

  11. Brian Rolston can kill some penalties

  12. my finn boy

    saku koivu
